First indigenously built floating dock launched

Indian Navy's first indigenously built floating dock (FDN-2), developed by Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T), was launched at the L&T shipyard in Kattupalli. This is a milestone in India's quest for self-reliance in ship building.
The Navy already has one Floating Dock. This would be its second such facility which will be used for expantion of Port Blair.
