GRSE lunched 2nd LCU Mark IV vessel

The second of the eight Mark IV LCU (Landing Craft Utility) vessels, built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), Kolkata, was formally handed over to the Indian Navy at a ceremony in Kolkata.
The LCU Mark-IV vessels are designed for multi purpose amphibious operations jointly carried out Indian Navy and Indian Army to ensure maritime security of Andamans and Lakshadweep islands.
