ADB commits USD 10 billion to support Indian states

Asian Development bank president Takehiko Nakao has stated during his 3 days visit in India that ADB will give USD 10 billion to India to support infrastructure and fulfill immediate development needs in less developed states like Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh over a period of five years. According to ADB estimation, India is expected to grow by 7.4% in the current financial year and 7.6% in 2018-19.
ADB is a finance institution established in 19 December 1966, it’s headquarter is in Philippines devoted to reduce poverty in Asia and the Pacific through loans.
