Jupiter is the Solar System's Oldest Planet

According to a new paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the oldest planet in the solar system is Jupiter.
An international team of scientists from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) solved the mystery of oldest planet by using isotope signatures of meteorites (which are derived from asteroids) to infer Jupiter's age.
