PM Modi inaugurates India's first ever Global Mobility Summit

India's ever first Global Mobility Summit - MOVE - is inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The summit is organised by Niti Ayog. The focus of the summit is on raising awareness about various aspects of Mobility and bringing various stakeholders involved in enhancing mobility across different platforms. Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi said that focus must go beyond cars and stressed that common public transport must be made the cornerstone of mobility.

The Global Mobility Summit is the first of its kind, with over 2200 participants expected from across the world including leaders from the government, industry, research organizations, academia, think tanks and civil society.
