Union Government launches training programme COMMIT

The Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension has launched a training program Comprehensive Online Modified Modules on Induction Training (COMMIT) for State Government officials. This program has been developed by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) in collaboration with United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The goal of COMMIT program is to raise the public service mechanism and provide citizen centric administration through competency development who interact with the citizens on daily basis.
Initially pilot basis program has been launched in 6 States of Maharashtra, Assam, Haryana, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal during the current financial year 2017-18.
